MustCine.com was created in an effort to bring educational, inspiring and thought-provoking movies and documentaries to the people.  Mainstream media increasingly practices self-censorship and it ignores many interesting opinions and historical events.  With the media distorting or ignoring information, it’s often very hard to get an accurate picture of a problem, even while watching the news. We hope MustCine.com can help you!

While some of the films on our site have widespread distribution, others are created by independent filmmakers who depend on sites like ours to get their information to the public. We are here to help independent documentary filmmakers promote their films.  The amount of work that these producers put into making a film is astounding.  Different films create different reactions among different people.  There will be aspects of the films in which you may disagree or agree but these films will get you thinking.

Frequently Asked Questions:

  1. Why are some documentaries only showing 10 or 15 min?
Some of the documentaries hosted on this site are made-up  of  multiple Youtube video clips.  We use Youtube playlists for some of our documentaries and that explains why it would sometimes appear to only be 1o or 15 min log but in fact after the first video clip finished, the second video in the playlist will start automatically.
  2. Who hosts these documentaries? (disclaimer)
None of the content is hosted on this site and all media is embedded from other sites such as Google Video, YouTube, Guba, MegaVideo, Youku or the like.  We have no control over the copyleft issues of the streaming media.  All issues concerning copyleft violations should be aimed at the sites hosting these documentaries.   We do not have control over which documentaries are in public domain, which has been uploaded to e.g. youtube by the owner and which has been uploaded without permission, and is therefore willing to remove any violating material immediately upon request.  The copyleft owner must further contact the source if he wants his material off the Internet completely.
  3. Are the movies on your site true?
We try to post films that we think are honest. We can’t be certain that every statement from every movie on our site is true. We aren’t a news organisation nor have we researched everything. We will leave it up to you and your research skills to come to that decision.  We do think that all of the films on our site are worth watching and do provide a lot of interesting facts many of which have been ignored by the mainstream media. We encourage you to watch the films before coming to assumptions, they might surprise you.
  4. Can I post a film?
Yes! We’ve build in a video submission system to allow our users (like you!) to submit new videos to our ever expanding library.  If you wish to participate simply click “Submit Form” in the menu on top of this page.
  5. Do producers give you permission to show their films?
We follow all copyright laws. We deal with streaming partners who handle all copyright issues.  By embedding films we cannot legally be liable for any copyright infringement as stated by the DMCA.  If you feel that your film is online without your permission, we will forward you to our streaming partners.  When they agree that a copyright infringement has taken place, your film will be removed from our site.
  6. Why do documentary film makers allow their films to be streamed for free on the internet?
Many documentary film makers realise that having their films streamed on the internet for free will not only educate people on their perspective but will also encourage people to purchase the DVD.
  7. How can I make a difference?
You can make a difference by spreading the word about our website. The more people that know what’s going on in the world, the better off the world will be.
